IS IT A TATTOO?

Usually spread over three sessions (Depending on area and severity of hair loss) SMP works by inserting ink underneath the skin, much like a tattoo. Through this method of ‘tattooing’ we thoroughly restore the appearance of a hair follicle at its shortest form.

The main difference between SMP and tattooing is that SMP needles are thinner, and insert ink slightly deeper into the dermis creating a more subtle, natural look. 

IS IT PERMANENT?

Scalp Micropigmentation is permanent. A touch up may be required around 3-6 years dependant on how much direct sunlight touches the top of your scalp which can lead to slight fading.
